About the event
Why music improvisation is not being taught with universal and simple methods that work for all kind of musicians? And why is improvisation most of the time linked up to Jazz?
Truth is that being able to improvise melodies and feeling free on your instrument doesn’t require much of music theory nor technic. Just several concepts, exercises and the right mindset are really more than enough to get a good level of freedom. (only up to 4 participants)
FOR WHO?
If you are an amateur rock guitarist, a professional classical violinist or a jazz saxophone student and you want to either start to improvise or upgrade your playing with a different practising approach, this workshop is definitely for you!
In this 2hours workshop, you will learn all the important concepts that define music, melodies and improvisation. Wether you want to play Jazz, Rock, Pop, Classical, Folk, the methods and exercises taught in this workshop work for all, no matter what instrument you play and how much experience you have.
You will practise together, listen to each other and get feedbacks on how to bring your improvisation skills to the next level.
